Dream Wilder! The new Ducati DesertX

The final Ducati World Premiere bike has been revealed and it’s the long awaited DesertX, which has been teased since the start of the DWP!

Created for limitless adventures, the new DesertX has been designed to tackle even the most demanding off-road tracks. Powered by a 937cc Testastretta 11° engine, delivering 110hp at  9250rpm, there’s also a 21” front wheel, and 18” rear wheel, alongside long travel suspension and generous, 250mm ground clearance. This is a bike with true off-road attitude and is a modern twist on the 1980’s Enduro bikes.

Thanks to the latest generation technology, in-depth aerodynamic studies and greater attention to ergonomics, the DesertX ensures your next journey is as comfortable, easy and safe as you’d expect. There’s an excellent load capacity too, with almost 120 litres of volume available with bags and a top case.

It’s been designed for desert dunes, gravel roads and narrow, twisted mountain paths. The DesertX has no limits, meaning more time in the saddle and more fun for the rider. Make use of 6 riding modes, and 4 power modes – full, high, medium and low – that alter the responsiveness of the engine to the rider’s preference. In addition to Sport, Touring, Urban and Wet modes, there’s a new Enduro Riding Mode and Rally Riding Mode too! Not forgetting the electronic aids on the bike, the DesertX features ABS Cornering, Engine Brake Control, Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Wheelie Control and Ducati Quick Shift up & down.

The new DesertX is a fantastic new model to the line-up and one we can’t wait to share with you. For more information, and to register your interest with the team, please get in touch with Ducati Cambridge via the link below.
