Ducati Desmosedici Stradale - The sound of a new era.

We're excited to welcome the very latest Ducati engine, the Desmosedici Stradale. The V4 90˚ engine has been redesigned with Ducati's success on the racetracks in mind, taking inspiration from the experience the brand has gained in MotoGP, where V4 engines have brought great success. With such excellent performance on the tracks, the four-cylinder Desmosedici, which graced Supersport models, has now led us to the compact new Stradale.

The new engine marks a milestone in the company's history as this will be the first four-cylinder engine available in a mass-produced Ducati road bike. So now you can feel some of that track excitement on your journey to work.

Claudio Domenicalli, the CEO of Ducati Motor Holding, said "We are proud to reveal this technological jewel that starts a new chapter in our company's history, demonstrating its vitality and high level of investment in the development of new products. This engine also demonstrates the close collaboration between Ducati Corse and the group developing production motorcycles, and how much racing is able to develop technology that is then usable for the standard models."

The new Desmosedici Stradale will be twinned with the Ducati Panigale V4, which will be unveiled on November 5th at the Ducati World Premiere 2018. Full information on the new engine, including full technical details, can be found at Ducati's dedicated site here
