Ducati Panigale V2 Bayliss

It’s been 20 years since Troy Bayliss won the first of his three Superbike World Championships, and Ducati have honoured this with the release of a very special bike.

The new Ducati Panigale V2 Bayliss features new livery and a range of special components to ensure this bike is at home on the track as it is on the road. Each bike is numbered making each one something very special. The new livery is inspired by the 996R on which Bayliss won that first World Championship. Bayliss’ racing number, 21, features both on the fairing and the seat, where the embroidered badge also shows off a green and red stripe, a nod to the Italian flag. The single seat tail is eye catching and aggressive, and riders will love the attention to detail, down to Bayliss’ signature that has been recaptured on the fuel tank. Should you wish to, the bike can be configured for the track with mirror hole covers and a numberplate removing kit.

Underneath there’s a Superquadro V2 engine with 155hp and 104Nm of torque. Although based on the standard Panigale V2, there’s a number of changes that stand this bike apart from the rest. Ohlins suspension, with a with a Nix 30 mechanical fork upfront and TTX 36 at the back, and adjustable steering damper feature alongside special sport handles and a self-bleeding radial brake and clutch pumps. It also comes in at 3kg lighter than the standard V2.

As to be expected, a number of safety aids feature is at the top of Ducati’s priorities with ABS, Wheelie Control, Traction Control, Quick Shift Up/Down and Engine Brake Control.

We’re sure this new model will sell out quickly, so get in touch with the team at Ducati Cambridge to discover more. We’ll be happy to help and answer any questions you may have.
