Introducing the new 2021 XDiavel range

Amongst the doom and gloom of this year, the Ducati World Premiere 2021 has been a shining beacon of hope, allowing us to get excited for a new range of 2021 bikes, and a brand-new riding season. From updated versions to brand new models, we can’t wait for all of these new bikes to land to invite riders old and new into our Cambridge store.

Following on from the great news of the Multistrada V4, that we’re all rather impatiently waiting for, we’ve got even more to get excited about as Ducati unveiled the new 2021 model year XDiavel range during the Ducati World Premiere 2021.

The XDiavel range has got it all; sporty features, a long, low stance and aggressive look, and a full view of the trellis frame. Of course, we’re not forgetting the high torque engine for ultimate riding satisfaction. State of the art electronics grace these models, with 3 riding modes, Ducati Traction Control and Ducati Power Launch on offer, alongside full LED light clusters and an advanced sports braking system. It’s top of the range performance alongside low-speed rideability.

The range has been updated for 2021, and has added two new versions for the new year in the form of the XDiavel Dark and XDiavel Black Star. Both add versatility to the range, and sit alongside the XDiavel S whilst each offering their own personality, based on rider preference. Both new the Dark and Black Star offer a 2kg dry weight saving and maintain the 160HP power output and 127Nm torque that you’ll find across the range from the Testastretta DVT 1262 twin-cylinder engine. A new silencer and engine mapping make the XDiavel a truly high-performance cruiser with a sporty soul.

The XDiavel Dark will arrive with a stylish matt black look and is the entry model into the world of XDiavel. The matt black finish has been a favourite of Ducati’s for over 20 years since it was first unveiled on the Monster 600 Dark. This colour now finishes the XDiavel Dark for the ultimate total black look which extends to the mechanical components too.

In contrast, the Black Star model replaces the Dark’s subtle aggression for a more stand-out look, and welcomes matt black and grey with striking red accents. This new model’s distinctive livery has been designed with the world of sports cars in mind, and the colours cross, echoing the concept of the X that characterises the range. The Black Star adds daytime running lights, a feature that is missing on the entry level Dark trim. Reminders of this bikes sporting soul cut through the design, including the red cylinder head covers and gloss black forged rims. Sit comfortably on the high-grip suede seat and get out on the road for pure riding pleasure.
