Introducing the Streetfighter V2 and V4 SP – A New Fighter in Town

Episode four of the Ducati World Premiere revealed two new Streetfighter models in the V2 and top of the range V4 SP. These models now sit alongside the V4 and V4 S bikes already available at Ducati Cambridge. Let’s take a look what these new Streetfighters offer.

Streetfighter V2 – 153 horsepower, 90.4 lb-ft torque, 178kg dry weight.

The new V2 offers one-of-a-kind character in a sports naked outfit, combining Panigale V2 DNA, high and wide handlebars and the aggressive attitude of the Streetfighter. Despite its power, it’s an easy to handle bike offering maximum riding fun and feisty performance. The engine and chassis come from the Panigale V2, and the 955cc Superquadro engine is controlled by the latest generation electronics package. There’s ABS Cornering, Traction Control WVO 2, Engine Brake Control EVO, Quickshift up and down EVO 2 and Wheelie Control EVO. The bike itself offers three riding modes in the form of Sport, Road and Wet, the latter of which offers specific traction and anti-wheelie settings so low-grip situations. The new Streetfighter V2 is available in Ducati red with black wheels.

Streetfighter V4 SP – 208 horsepower, 90.4 lb-ft torque, 177kg dry weight.

Please welcome the top-of-the-range Streetfighter V4 SP, offered as a numbered model with SP (Sport Production) markings. This is the most adrenaline-pumping naked to hit to Borgo Panigale production line. It takes the SP recipe from the Panigale V4 SP and applies it to the Streetfighter.

Winter Test livery and a brushed aluminium tank, carbon fibre wings and mudguard, stands the SP out from the rest, which takes inspiration from MotoGP and SBK pre-season test bikes. Weight has been saved across the bike, with 1.4kg lighter carbon rims and an overall weight saving of 3kg over the V4 S. The 208 horsepower is derived from the 1103cc Desmosedici Stradale engine, with ‘Twin Pulse’ firing order. Of course, there’s a comprehensive range of equipment too including Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 suspension and Brembo Stylema R braking system with front callipers.
